Keanu Reeves Has Been Running a Secret Cancer Foundation to Fund Children’s Hospitals

The Matrix movie series was one of the most revolutionary works of art to ever come out of Hollywood.

Its pro-humanity, anti-authoritarian message instantly made it a classic and it has since become the subject of internet memes and (red pill) movements alike.

At the center of this silver-screen revolution is Keanu Reeves whose real-life heroism makes his role as Neo that much more incredible.

It is no secret that Keanu Reeves is Hollywood’s biggest low-key real-life hero, but did you know that he also secretly funds children’s hospitals?

We didn’t, and most people probably wouldn’t either as the upcoming star of the sci-fi thriller Replicas is not exactly boastful of his contributions to society—unlike many other Hollywood celebrities.

Reeves is so modest that he runs a private foundation which aids cancer research and children’s hospitals around the country.

This Hollywood superstar is so unpretentious that he’s actually only talked about it one time and in an interview with a women’s magazine who had an inside track and asked him about it.

Reeves desire to help those with cancer could possibly come from the fact that his sister was diagnosed with leukemia around 1991. After battling it for nearly a decade, Kim Reeves went into remission in 1999.

“I love Kim,” Keanu said to Woman’s Day in 1999. “She’s so brave, and I want the very best for her.

You can star in hit movies, but that’s nothing compared to going through what Kim’s been through.”

“Keanu helped me so much through my illness,” Kim told the magazine in the interview.

“When the pain got really bad, he would sit with me and hold my hand, and keep the ‘bad man’ from making me dance. He was supporting me and comforting me all the time, even when he was away.”

In 2009, ten years after the Woman’s Day interview, Reeves spilled the beans about his charitable work with children’s hospitals.

In a Ladies Home Journal article published in 2009, he said he had started a private charitable foundation years ago:

“I have a private foundation that’s been running for five or six years, and it helps aid a couple of children’s hospitals and cancer research. I don’t like to attach my name to it, I just let the foundation do what it does.”

Reeves financing a network of children’s hospitals and cancer research should come as no surprise as he’s been ‘caught’ doing remarkably humane deeds over the past years.

Below is a list TFTP reported last year that was Redditors compiled of testimonials from people who claim their lives have been touched by Reeves and noted ten times this Hollywood legend has lived up to the “Bill and Ted’s” motto of “be excellent to each other.”

1. Reeves would routinely buy lunch for all the workers on the sets of his movies. 

“Back in the late 90s and fresh out of college I got my first job as an assistant prop designer on the set of Chain Reaction (Keanu was a supporting actor with Morgan Freeman).

EVERY DAY for the last few weeks of filming, Keanu treated the stage hands and “grunt workers” (including myself) by taking us out for free breakfast and lunch. He was genuinely a very nice guy to work with.

“Since then, I’ve worked on about 30 different sets and have never met an actor as generous and friendly as him. Most actors I’ve seen and worked with are total douches who always think they are better than us. Keanu on the other hand, at the very least, was socially approachable and definitely kindhearted.

“That was one example (that involved me directly), but (on the same set), I remember him going out of his way to give my friend a ride to the repair shop to pick up his car… I’ll write more as I remember, but its been a while.” — bo2dd2

2. Reeves reportedly gave $20,000 to a crew member of the Matrix because he knew he was having family trouble.

“A family friend builds movie sets, doesn’t design, is one of the poor dudes that just builds. Anyways he worked on the set for the Matrix and Keanu heard about family trouble he was having and gave him a $20,000 Christmas bonus to help him out. He also was one of the only people on the set that genuinely wanted to know peoples names, would say hello and mean it, and would talk to people as they were his peers and not below him just because they were practically making nothing to build a set. I’ve never heard anyone say Keanu is douche, seems like the nicest person in Hollywood from a second hand experience.” — kahi

3. Reeves was reported to have driven a woman 50 miles out of his way because her car broke down.

“A friend of mine told me that she was once stranded on the side of a highway outside LA when her jalopy broke down. She had no cell phone (that was before most people had cell phones) and no way to call for help. Then a nice black porsche pulls over and as you can guess, it was Keanu. He tried to help her jump start the car and when it didn’t work, he called AAA for her. When they towed her car, he offered her to drive her home, which she accepted. He drove about 50 miles out of his destination just to drive her home.

She told me she hoped he would hit on her but he didn’t, he was just a gentleman, dropped her at her house, gave her his phone number and told her to call him if she needed further help.”— lovemyax

4. Reeves was alleged to have bought Harley Davidson Motorcycles for the entire special effects crew on the Matrix.

“I had a few friends working special effects jobs on the Matrix movies, he bought all of them fucking HARLEYS for Christmas during the shoot for the second one.”

“One of those guys, Paul, said that Keanu was the most sincere, humble and lovely dude he’d ever met. Said he eschewed contact with the cast in favour of hanging out with the crew, was the only guy the martial arts coaches respected out of the whole cast, and was the bravest man he’s ever met.

That scene in the first Matrix film, the assault on the office tower lobby – Keanu turned down earplugs for all the charges blowing everywhere taking ‘bullet holes’ out of pillars, walls etc, just for authenticity.

When he turns and hides behind a pillar which explodes with bullets hitting it on both sides, Paul said ‘the entire crew was about 15 metres away, with ear protection, and all flinching anyway when the charges blew – Keanu just took it like a complete badass.’”

5. When he’s not buying people things, giving them rides, or starting a revolution, he is a genuinely nice person who makes everyone around him happy.

“My brother works at a coffee shop in New York, it’s got pretty alright coffee but the real draw is that they roast their own beans and all the beans are sucked through pneumatic tubes into a machine that grinds and brews all at once. It’s a bunch of bells and whistles, and doesn’t necessarily make for the best coffee ever. Anyway, Keanu comes into the store and orders a coffee, asks my brother how the whole system works and immediately after he finishes, he pauses, looks surprised and says ‘Whoa.’ It was perfect. And it seemed like he was actually interested and impressed by the fancy nature of the coffee shop.”

6. Reeves stands accused of being a regular guy, who likes to chill and who may also be a mythological being.

“So my neighbor was out camping and met Keanu Reeves who was also camping (I guess he likes dogs because he came up and said ‘I love these dogs!’ about her rottweiler) and she said she thought she was crazy for a minute because no one else knew he was there and it turns out Keanu was just there chilling with a one-man tent and a cooler and his little Dodge car and every time someone looked at him he’d just turn his face away and it’s kind of just solidified in my mind that Keanu Reeves is a cryptid.”

While the above testimonials could be mere rumors, they are backed up by some of the examples below as Reeves was captured on video and in images being a great person.

7. Reeves was captured on video simply being a friend to a homeless man.

One of the most famous stories surrounding Keanu Reeves took place back in 1997, when he was spotted hanging out with a homeless person. Apparently, he was just minding his own business on the streets of Hollywood and chanced upon this man.

He then shared some drinks, snacks, and listened to the man’s stories, even lying down on his back, clearly interested in what the man had to say. All of this might have gone unrecorded had some paparazzis not stopped by and noticed the two deep in conversation.

8. Reeves put his own money back into the Matrix movies so he could ensure the employment of the crew.

Although there is a false internet myth that Keane Reeves gave tens of millions to the crew of the Matrix, he would indeed make deals to take lower pay so the employees of the movie could have jobs.

As Roger Friedman explained, Keanu Reeves never wrote a personal check to anyone. The back-end deal basically put some of his money back into the franchise to ensure that the special effects and costume crew could continue working on the franchise for the duration of the trilogy.It’s more akin to what Keanu did on The Devil’s Advocate and The Replacements, which was to give up part of his asking price so that the studio could afford to hire Al Pacino and Gene Hackman in those respective films.

9. The Hollywood legend has been recorded giving up his seat on the subway—because he’s a gentleman.

Not only would other Hollywood stars never be caught riding a subway, but some of these types are reportedly so arrogant that even if they had to ride on the subway, they would likely never give up their seat. But these other stars aren’t Keanu Reeves.

Reeves was seen on video—not doing a PR stunt—jumping out of his seat to give it to a woman who’d just boarded the train.

10. Reeves would rather wait in the rain than inconvenience others or cause a scene.

As Page Six reported at the time:

Keanu Reeves was more like his chill character from “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” than any pampered movie star Friday when he waited patiently in the rain for 20 minutes to get into his own wrap party for “Daughter of God.” Chauffeur Ronny Sunshine — once known as the “Mad Limo Czar” for driving bands including The Beatles, he claims — was also on the scene outside Chelsea lounge the Leonora. “Keanu was really patiently waiting,” the driver told us. “I don’t think he said anything to the bouncer, like, ‘I’m Keanu.’ No one recognized him.”

 

Sunshine added: “Keanu looks very ordinary. It was raining, but he just waited for his two friends to come. He didn’t act like he had money. I just thought he was a rock ’n’ roller.” The club’s owner Noel Ashman told us: “I didn’t know he was kept waiting, and he didn’t say anything to me.” He added, “He’s a very relaxed person.” Once inside, Reeves even announced from the DJ booth he’d found another guest’s credit card on the ground and wanted to return it. So much of what we have been taught to believe about the so-called ‘democracy’ is utterly false, and in order to truly understand why things are the way they are, with so much debt, war and tyranny, you need to know these 30 facts.

1. The IRS is NOT a U.S. Government Agency.  It is an Agency of the IMF.

Why is the above so difficult for most people to understand?

Simple: words like ‘person’, ‘citizen’, ‘people’, ‘or’, ‘nation’, ‘is’, ‘fact’, ‘authority’, ‘truth’, ‘nation’, ‘crime’, ‘fraud’, ‘charge’, ‘right’, ‘statute’, ‘preferred’, ‘assume’, ‘prefer’, ‘constitutor’, ‘creditor’, ‘debtor’, ‘debit’, ‘discharge’, ‘payment’, ‘law’, ‘United States’, and hundreds of other words do NOT mean what you think they mean and you were never taught the ‘Legal Definitions’ so you would ‘Understand that you DON’T understand’.

Don’t let this information alarm you because without it you cannot ever HOPE to be free.

You have to understand that all slavery and freedom originates in the human mind.

As the philospher Goethe wrote: “No man is more hopelessly enslaved than he who WRONGLY BELIEVES that he is free.”

When your mind allows you to accept and understand that the United States, Great Brittan and the Vatican are Corporations which are nothing but fictional entities which have been placed in your mind, you will understand our slavery remains primarily because we believe in false fictions.

The Illusion is MUCH larger than the irrefutable 30 points above, and the 30 points above are not even the tip of the tip of the iceberg.  But it is, at least a starting point.

This Church Allows Homeless People To Sleep Overnight, Gives Them Blankets

Nearly 15 years ago, St. Boniface church in San Francisco began opening their doors for homeless people in need of shelter.

The effort was started by Father Louis Vitale of the church, and community activist Shelly Roder, in 2004 and is known as The Gubbio Project.

Hundreds of people each day pass through the church, using the pews to sleep on, and getting blankets from the staff.

“No questions are asked when our guests walk into the churches; in an effort to remove all barriers to entry, there are no sign-in sheets or intake forms. No one is ever turned away; all are welcomed, respected and treated with dignity,” according to the Gubbio Project’s website.

The facility is still open for local churchgoers who want to visit throughout the day, but 2/3 of the church is reserved for the Gubbio project.

“This sends a powerful message to our unhoused neighbors – they are in essence part of the community, not to be kicked out when those with homes come in to worship.

It also sends a message to those attending mass – the community includes the tired, the poor, those with mental health issues and those who are wet, cold and dirty,” a representative with Gubbio said.

One of the main complaints that people often have about homeless shelters is that they can feel like prisons, and be extremely dangerous as well, but the Gubbio project seems different.

95% of those surveyed said they always or usually feel safe at The Gubbio Project, and those who pass through are not treated like prisoners as they are in many shelters.

Last year The Mind Unleashed reported that the city of Seattle was planning to set up razor-wire fencing to keep homeless populations from camping. Then, not long after we reported that San Francisco was using Robots scare homeless people away from encampments and report them to police.

Also in San Francisco, we recently reported that the city spent $8,700 installing large boulders under overpasses to prevent homeless people from setting up camps. There were numerous homeless encampments in the area until they were recently forced out of the area, and now the City’s government is doing everything they can to keep the camps out of the area.

At least a dozen activists were arrested last month for feeding the homeless in Wells Park in El Cajon, California. Even a 14-year-old child was arrested. Authorities say that the law is aimed to prevent the spread of disease, but activists say that they are criminalizing the homeless.

“It means they are criminalizing homelessness. They’ve created 4 laws against the homeless. No camping, no sleeping in cars, no panhandling and no feeding the homeless,” Mark Lane told RT.

McDonald’s history is not a good one, and fast food restaurants already are known to have a lot of mystery ingredients, but this tops the list.

Previously we brought you a web report that detailed disturbing audio admissions by a man that claimed McDonald’s uses human meat as a filler in their 100% beef hamburgers and the fact that McDonald’s has been accused of using worm meat fillers.

According to Huzler, forensics investigators have allegedly found human meat and horse meat in the freezer’s of an Oklahoma City McDonald’s meat factory. Human meat was also recovered in several trucks that were on their way to deliver the patties to the fast food restaurants.

According to various reports, forensics investigators have inspected factories and restaurants across the country and have found human meat in 90% of the locations. Horse meat was found in 65% of the locations.

FBI agent Lloyd Harrison told Huzler reporters, “The worst part is that it’s not only human meat, it’s child meat. The body parts were found across the US factories and were deemed too small to be adult body parts. This is truly horrible”. According to Harrison, forensic examinations are underway.

Cannibalism has gone back tens of thousands of years and is still present today. In 2013 a North Korean man was executed for killing his children for food. Today there are a few tribes that still believe in eating human flesh as a cultural practice.

Here in America, people have obsessed about eating human meat such as Jeffrey Dahmer and Albert Fish. We have diagnosed them schizophrenic and mentally ill.

To be in denial that this type of thing does not happen, would be foolish. Now the customers of McDonald’s fast food restaurants want answers! How long have they been using this human meat? Where did they get the children from? Were they already dead when brought into the factories?

Authorities hope to have all of these questions answered through forensic DNA as they thoroughly use their investigative techniques at all facilities.

The study, which discovered the startling information by accident, was originally trying to determine if women who have been pregnant with a son might be more predisposed to certain neurological diseases that occur more frequently in males.

But as the scientists picked apart the female brain, the study began to veer wildly off course. As it turns out, the female brain is even more mysterious than we previously thought.

The study found that female brains often harbor “male microchimerism”, or in other words, the presence of male DNA that originated from another individual, and are genetically distinct from the cells that make up the rest of the woman.

According to the study: “63% of the females (37 of 59) tested harbored male microchimerism in the brain. Male microchimerism was present in multiple brain regions.”

So 63% of women carry male DNA cells that live in their brains. Obviously the researchers wanted to know where the male DNA came from.

Anyone care to guess? From the women’s fathers? No. Your father’s DNA combines with your mother’s to create your unique DNA. So where else could it come from?

Through the study the researchers assumed that the most likely answer was that all male DNA found living in the female brain came from a male pregnancy. That was the safe, politically correct assumption. But these researchers were living in denial.

Because when they autopsied the brains of women who had never even been pregnant, let alone with a male child, they STILL found male DNA cells prevalent in the female brain.

At this point the scientists didn’t know what the hell was going on. Confused, they did their best to hide the evidence until they could understand and explain it. They buried it in numerous sub studies and articles, but if you sift through them all you will find the damning statement, the one line that gives the game away and explains exactly where these male DNA cells come from.

What are they so afraid of?

“CONCLUSIONS: Male microchimerism was not infrequent in women without sons. Besides known pregnancies, other possible sources of male microchimerism include unrecognized spontaneous abortion, vanished male twin, an older brother transferred by the maternal circulation, or SEXUAL INTERCOURSE. Male microchimerism was significantly more frequent and levels were higher in women with induced abortion than in women with other pregnancy histories. Further studies are needed to determine specific origins of male microchimerism in women.“

So according to the scientists, the possible sources of the male DNA cells living in the women’s brains are:

1. an abortion the woman didn’t know about
2. a male twin that vanished
3. an older brother transferred by the maternal circulation
4. sexual intercourse

Considering the fact that 63% of women have male DNA cells residing in the recesses of their brain, which of the above possibilities do you think is the most likely origin of the male DNA?

The first three options apply to a very small percentage of women. They couldn’t possibly account for the 63% figure. The fourth option? It’s rather more common.

Why Is Marijuana Banned? The Real Reasons are Worse than You Think

Across the world, support for marijuana legalization continues to grow in places where it’s currently illegal. But then the question becomes – why was it ever banned in the first place?

The answer may surprise you – because it’s not what you think.

In fact, we think you’ll find the answer downright shocking.

Back in 1929, Harry Anslinger was made director of a government department known as the Department of Prohibition. But, as it turned out, Prohibition was a disaster – and when it was repealed, Anslinger needed a way to keep his department alive.

So, without a way to scapegoat alcohol any longer, he turned his eyes elsewhere – on cannabis.

Cannabis, he said, would make a dangerous, insane criminal. Marijuana, he said, made people turn into evil beasts. And then, he said, there was the case of the boy Victor Lacata, who’d recently hacked his family to death in Florida – with an ax. That, Anslinger said, is what happens when you smoke weed.

Documentation now shows that Anslinger wrote to thirty leading doctors, hoping they’d sign off on his crazy statements. Twenty-nine said no. One said, sure. Anslinger used that doctor to give legitimacy to his ravings.

The United States banned marijuana – then strong-armed other countries, such as Mexico, into doing the same.

Confused doctors, who knew that cannabis wasn’t the evil Anslinger was making it out to be, asked where the scientific research was to support such wild claims.

Anslinger refused to hear it, writing only “The marijuana evil can no longer be temporized with,” and as such, he would fund no independent science, not ever.

But here’s the catch. Years later, somebody went and looked at the psychiatric files for Victor Lacata – and there’s no evidence he ever used cannabis. Instead, there was a long history of mental illness in his family, and someone had actually suggested Lacata be institutionalized a year prior. There was no mention of cannabis in any of his files.

There’s no data anywhere to support the idea that cannabis causes pyschosis.

In fact, the scientific evidence suggests cannabis is safer than alcohol. Alcohol kills 40,000 people every year in the US. Cannabis kills nobody—although Willie Nelson says a friend of his did once die when a bale of cannabis fell on his head.

Isn’t it time we listened to the science—and finally put away Victor Lacata’s axe?

Why You’ve Never Heard Of The Six Chinese Men Who Survived The Titanic

The only one of Titanic’s lifeboats to turn back to the wreckage found body after body – until it discovered a young Chinese man, still alive, clinging to a piece of wood.

In the early hours of April 15, 1912, a lifeboat navigated the frigid waters of the North Atlantic Ocean, its skeleton crew scanning the dark, debris-littered surface for any sign of life. Hours earlier, the unthinkable had happened: The RMS Titanic, a majestic ocean liner deemed “unsinkable,” had struck an iceberg and slowly disappeared into the sea on its maiden voyage.

Hundreds of passengers fled in lifeboats. Hundreds more perished, going down with the ship or freezing to death in the icy water. The only one of Titanic’s lifeboats to turn back to the wreckage found body after body – until it discovered a young Chinese man, still alive, clinging to a piece of wood.

That man would be one of six Chinese passengers who survived the Titanic, a little-known fact about the historic disaster that has largely remained untold or distorted, owing to a racially hostile environment toward Chinese people in the West at the turn of the 20th century.

The only one lifeboat to turn back to the wreckage found a young Chinese man clinging to a piece of wood.

Now, the lives of these men – who they were, how they survived that fateful night and why they were barred from entering the United States – are being examined in a new documentary, “The Six,” by Arthur Jones and Steven Schwankert.

“There were something like 700 Titanic survivors. They’ve all been so ‘claimed,’ if all the claims to be believed,” Jones, a Shanghai-based filmmaker, told The Washington Post. “These were the only guys amongst those 700 that no one had ever claimed. They just completely disappeared. Why did they get ignored?”

On April 10, 1912, the Titanic set off on her maiden voyage to the United States from Southampton, England, with 2,229 passengers and crew members. The ship was supposed to arrive a week later at its transatlantic destination: New York City.

Instead, around 11:30 p.m. on April 14, the Titanic struck an iceberg off the coast of Newfoundland and began to take on water. Within hours, the massive ocean liner had cleaved in two and – with hundreds still trapped on board – was swallowed by the frigid waters of what is now known as “Iceberg Alley.”

About 1,500 people died in the tragedy. About 700 passengers survived and were plucked from their lifeboats by the RMS Carpathia the next morning.

The ill-fated voyage has been immortalized in countless documentaries, books and museums – and in the tin-whistled opening bars of a certain Celine Dion song now indelibly associated with the shipwreck, thanks to James Cameron’s 1997 blockbuster film.

Over the past century, volumes have been written about hundreds of the Titanic’s victims and survivors, their life stories preserved in astonishing detail by history books and their descendants. However, for six Chinese passengers who survived the sinking, their ties to the Titanic have all but vanished.

Schwankert first brought up the possibility of a Titanic project to Jones in 2014. Jones dismissed the idea at first. For starters, the longtime documentary partners were in the midst of another project.

But also: It was the Titanic, Schwankert recalled Jones saying.

“Everything’s been done,” Schwankert said they thought. “There’s nothing new to say about it. And this was not so long after the 100th anniversary” of the 1912 voyage.

Still, he pressed on. The New Jersey native, who has lived in China for 22 years, had recently researched the Titanic and come across a brief mention of six Chinese survivors. But the more he tried to find out about the six, the more dead ends he hit.

“It really started to bother me. Like, why don’t we know?” Schwankert said. “Like any history project, you start pulling the threads, and it just seemed like the thread didn’t lead anywhere.”

Before long, he had persuaded Jones to abandon their original project and launch “The Six.”

With little to go on at first but the passenger manifest and list of survivors, the team set up a simple website, whoarethesix.com, to crowdsource tips. The invisibility of the six Chinese survivors is such that, even in China, Jones and Schwankert find themselves telling people: Yes, there were, in fact, Chinese passengers on the Titanic.

Eight Chinese nationals boarded the ship at Southampton, to be exact. Their names appear in rigid cursive on a single ticket for third-class passengers: Ah Lam, Fang Lang, Len Lam, Cheong Foo, Chang Chip, Ling Hee, Lee Bing and Lee Ling.

Through two years of painstaking documentation, the filmmakers determined that the men in the group probably knew one another beforehand, having worked together as professional sailors on various ships in Britain. Because of an ongoing coal strike there, the men were being transferred by their company to a freighter docked in New York, the Annetta, which was to take them to Cuba.

“The reason they were traveling on Titanic in the first place is for work,” Schwankert said. “They were professional mariners, and they were being seconded from their company in the U.K. to go and work on the companies in North America.”

Their trip would not go as planned, of course.

How the eight men responded as the Titanic began taking on water may never be known. They would have been traveling in steerage, the lowest class of cabins, where the survival rate for non-British men was only about 20 percent.

What was documented is that one of the Chinese men was later found clinging to a large piece of floating wood by the one main lifeboat that chose to return to the wreckage to search for signs of life. Five others escaped in lifeboats. Notably, four were in “Collapsible C,” a backup escape vessel with canvas siding that was one of the last lifeboats to be lowered from the ship.

They happened to share the same lifeboat as Joseph Bruce Ismay, the chairman of the White Star Line, which owned the Titanic. Ismay, who was later pilloried for saving himself instead of going down with the ship despite being such a high-ranking official, testified in official inquiries that “four Chinamen were in the boat” in which he had escaped. The ship’s quartermaster, George T. Rowe, was on “Collapsible C” as well and also testified to the presence of the Chinese passengers, though he suggested they had “found” the four men “between the seats” only at daybreak.

Schwankert noted that the official testimony was instrumental in getting their research started on the Chinese survivors.

“Let me put it this way: I view the Chinese passengers as the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern of the Titanic,” Schwankert said. “They’re not major characters. But they pop up at really opportune moments in the story. . . . In the beginning, Ismay’s testimony was really some of the only information that we had that even verified that they even existed.”

Even after the Carpathia arrived in New York on April 18, 1912, the troubles for the six Chinese men were not over. Because of the Chinese Exclusion Act, passed in 1882, the group of survivors was not permitted to enter the United States. They were instead forced to board the Annetta, their intended ship of transfer, and the next day departed the country, bound for fruit ships in the Caribbean.

This is where Jones and Schwankert diverge slightly in their interpretation of how the Chinese survivors were treated. Schwankert acknowledged that the Chinese Exclusion Act – the only law in U.S. history to explicitly exclude a group on the basis of ethnicity – prevented the men from entering the country, but he noted that they were always meant to transfer to the Annetta and move on south.

However, Jones pointed out that other survivors were allowed to bypass screening at Ellis Island or received medical aid because of the trauma they had just experienced. The Chinese men were not.

“Do we call it deportation, or do we just say they were in transit?” Jones asks. “I think if we call it in transit, we miss that . . . they were not treated humanely. We know they lost close friends on board. And yet they weren’t given the option of staying. Not only did they have to leave in 24 hours on board [the Annetta], they were held overnight in custody. They were detained.”

Both agree that the attitude toward Chinese and other Asian minorities then was hostile, as evidenced in the tone of the few newspaper articles that mention them at the time. For instance, in an unsourced April 19, 1912, Brooklyn Daily Eagle article headlined “Heroism of Anglo-Saxon Sailors Stands Out in Disaster,” the Chinese passengers are described as almost inhuman and regarded with the utmost suspicion.

“The one dark spot is the fact that in the bottom of one lifeboat which left the Titanic were found, wedged beneath the seats, the bodies of two dead Chinese coolies and eight living ones,” the article stated. “They were creatures on their way to New York to join a sailing ship for the Orient, and who, at the first sign of danger, had sprung into the lifeboats . . . They were trampled upon by the women who were lowered into the boats later, and two of them crushed to death.”

The questionable passenger count notwithstanding, Schwankert said there is no evidence that the men stowed away or took the place of women and children on “Collapsible C,” which was not filled when it was discovered. In fact, the documentary team’s efforts include building a life-size replica of “Collapsible C” to prove that it would have been impossible for four men to hide at all, let alone overnight.

“The other news articles that you read about the Chinese men, there is this sense that they were somehow not entitled to seats on lifeboats,” Schwankert said. “Ismay was called a coward or certainly painted as a coward for not going down with the ship and for taking a place in the lifeboat. But there was another first-class gentleman in collapsible lifeboat C. . . . He gets in the boat and he basically gets off scot-free. No one ever criticizes him for surviving.”

It has taken more than two years for Jones and Schwankert, with a team of about a half-dozen researchers, to fact-check every detail they can find about the lives of the six survivors. Their research and interviews have taken them to London, Liverpool, both coasts of the United States, Cuba, the Caribbean, Canada and back to China. Against the odds, they have been able to track down several descendants of the six men – many of whom had never connected their relatives to the historic disaster.

“The Titanic is such a weird thing to study when you get into it because, on the one hand, there is so much information out there about the Titanic,” Schwankert said. “Not just sort of general info but also misinformation – but then there’s also some incredible detail out there that various people have put together. Then you come up with a specific question like ours . . . and there’s nothing.”

(Cameron, to his credit, filmed a scene in “Titanic” in which a Chinese man is rescued from a wooden plank in the water. It was later deleted, though the clip can be found in the director’s cut and on YouTube. Cameron’s representative said Tuesday that he was in the middle of a film shoot and could not immediately respond to an interview request.)

“The Six” documentary is in production and is to be released this year or next.

“The most important thing is that they’re given their rightful place in history,” Schwankert said. He also hopes that the documentary will “prove that they were not cowards, that they didn’t live at the expense of others who didn’t survive.”

In a sense, he added, the Titanic is just a small part of the story for these men, who probably hailed from Guangdong province in China and now have descendants across the world.

“The great thing about their stories is that they cut across such a huge swath of issues for the Chinese diaspora at the turn of the 20th century,” Schwankert said. “The fact that these men went on and ended up in all these diverse places, I think it shows a lot of the political currents and economic currents of the time. To be honest, for them, surviving the Titanic was not necessarily the biggest obstacle in their life. It was just one moment of adversity that they had to face in a lifetime of adversity.”

‘Time-Traveller’ From 2030 Claiming That Donald Trump Will Be Re-Elected

A ‘time-traveller’ who says he is from the future has passed a lie detector test after claiming Donald Trump will be re-elected and Artificial Intelligence will take over.

In a startling YouTube video posted by Apex TV the man, whose face and voice have been distorted to hide his identity, claims he has risked his life to travel back in time.

Apex TV says it is ‘one of the biggest voices of paranormal content on YouTube’, with over 56 million views and 100,000 subscribers.

His mission, he says, is to tell those alive now what the world has in store.

Among his predictions is the claim that Google Glass-style robotics will spread across the globe.

Technology will also have developed to the point where it will be able to independently run a home.

Bitcoin will be increasingly popular but pennies and cents will still be in use.

In 2030 he says the US president is a mysterious figure called Ilana Remikee.

He also suggests global warming has caused temperatures in North America to increase while Europe has cooled.

Humans will reach Mars in 2028 and, the same year, time travel will be discovered.

He states that electric cars will be able to travel as fast as diesel and petrol ones (despite many already being able to do so) and many forms of cancer have been cured.

In a previous interview with Paranormal Elite, Noah said he had anorexia and is in fact 50-years-old, but that he had taken an age rejuvenation drug which had transformed him into a 25-year-old.

Of course, his claims have attracted scepticism. In response, he agreed to take a lie detector test on camera.

In the footage from ApexTV the would-be oracle is seen sitting on a chair with what appears to be a polygraph lie detector wrapped around his bicep.

He is asked to predict some of the future’s major events – and confirm he really is who he says he is.

The interview begins and Noah is asked a simple question: ‘Are you an actual time traveller from the year 2030?’

He responds with a yes and ‘TRUE’ appears in large green letters superimposed on the video. However, the results on the machine are not shown.

Noah then claims he has ‘hard evidence’ to back up his predictions but isn’t sure that he can say what that it because it might cause a paradox.

Once again, the word ‘TRUE’ appears on screen again.

How do lie detectors work?

In police investigations – and often when someone applies for a job when national security can be compromised – a suspect or applicant will be subjected to a lie detector or polygraph test. They are now routine for U.S. government jobs with the FBI or CIA. The goal of a lie detector is to see if the person is telling the truth or lying when answering certain questions.

When a person takes a polygraph test, four to six sensors are attached to him. A polygraph is a machine in which the multiple (‘poly’) signals from the sensors are recorded on a single strip of moving paper (‘graph). The sensors usually record a person’s breathing rate, pulse, blood pressure and perspiration. They can also sometimes measure someone’s arm and leg movements.

When the polygraph test starts, the questioner asks three or four simple questions to establish what normal signals are for the person being investigated. Throughout questioning, all of the person’s signals are recorded on the moving paper.

Both during and after the test, a polygraph examiner can look at the graphs and can see whether the vital signs changed significantly on any of the questions. In general, a significant change – such as a faster heartrate, higher blood pressure or increased perspiration indicates that the person is lying.

But critics say that it easy to beat lie detectors – simply by ‘lying with your body as well as your words’. If a person substantially increases their respiratory rate, blood pressure and sweat level while answering standard questions, their answers to other questions (whether they are truths or falsehoods) will seem true.

This was done in the film ‘Ocean’s Eleven’, and is usually achieved by pressing down on a sharp object such as a drawing pin during routine questioning. This will cause more perspiration or a faster heart beat which in turn bamboozles the lie detector.

But while this countermeasure (if properly applied) can be effective, polygraphers have developed counter-countermeasures for it – the simplest being to simply make the subject remove his shoes.

While both sides are in competition like this, the debate over the reliability of lie detectors continues. That is especially the case when people who are mentally ill are subjected to polygraph tests – because they do not know or cannot express the truth, the argument goes, they will hardly likely to be exposed as liars.

He then begins to list events he says will happen in the next 12 years, including the re-election of Donald Trump and the rise of AI.

Again, the interviewer asks if he is telling the truth and, again, the machine apparently records that he is.

But so-called Noah has received criticism from sceptics who claim the test was rigged.

‘All Apex TV does is flash an answer on the screen with a ding noise, that doesn’t truly validate the lie detector,’ wrote one critic.

‘You can see Noah fidgeting around with the monitors strapped around his fingers and I myself know from first hand experience that when you take a lie detector test you are supposed to sit back and remain completely still.’

Another added: ‘You need to show the name of the lie detector and go through the stages of setting up the test

‘2030 is not that far off so what was the name of the president he gave, [they] should be very much alive right now.’

Lie detector tests do no say if things are objective true, only that the person who is making the claim believes that they are true.

Why Is Marijuana Banned? The Real Reasons are Worse than You Think

Across the world, support for marijuana legalization continues to grow in places where it’s currently illegal. But then the question becomes – why was it ever banned in the first place?

The answer may surprise you – because it’s not what you think.

In fact, we think you’ll find the answer downright shocking.

Back in 1929, Harry Anslinger was made director of a government department known as the Department of Prohibition. But, as it turned out, Prohibition was a disaster – and when it was repealed, Anslinger needed a way to keep his department alive.

So, without a way to scapegoat alcohol any longer, he turned his eyes elsewhere – on cannabis.

Cannabis, he said, would make a dangerous, insane criminal. Marijuana, he said, made people turn into evil beasts. And then, he said, there was the case of the boy Victor Lacata, who’d recently hacked his family to death in Florida – with an ax. That, Anslinger said, is what happens when you smoke weed.

Documentation now shows that Anslinger wrote to thirty leading doctors, hoping they’d sign off on his crazy statements. Twenty-nine said no. One said, sure. Anslinger used that doctor to give legitimacy to his ravings.

The United States banned marijuana – then strong-armed other countries, such as Mexico, into doing the same.

Confused doctors, who knew that cannabis wasn’t the evil Anslinger was making it out to be, asked where the scientific research was to support such wild claims.

Anslinger refused to hear it, writing only “The marijuana evil can no longer be temporized with,” and as such, he would fund no independent science, not ever.

But here’s the catch. Years later, somebody went and looked at the psychiatric files for Victor Lacata – and there’s no evidence he ever used cannabis. Instead, there was a long history of mental illness in his family, and someone had actually suggested Lacata be institutionalized a year prior. There was no mention of cannabis in any of his files.

There’s no data anywhere to support the idea that cannabis causes pyschosis.

In fact, the scientific evidence suggests cannabis is safer than alcohol. Alcohol kills 40,000 people every year in the US. Cannabis kills nobody—although Willie Nelson says a friend of his did once die when a bale of cannabis fell on his head.

Isn’t it time we listened to the science—and finally put away Victor Lacata’s axe?

Almost 50 Years Later, We Are Starting To ‘Imagine’ What John Lennon Tried To Tell Us

When John Lennon released the song Imagine in 1971, the public was not fully ready to embrace it. Sure, the members of the Hippie Movement and its emphasis on peace and love were still aflame, but this song offered a lofty vision that was beyond the reach even of staunch supporters. The simple, graceful melody belied its far-reaching profundity.

Today, that vision, and the future world that he imagined, is just starting to become accessible to us in its fullness.

Lennon had said that he got the initial idea from Yoko Ono’s book Grapefruit, which encourages us to “Imagine the sky crying,” or “Imagine you’re a cloud.” Still, Imagine evinces his signature militant challenge to widely-accepted conventions of our collective perception.

His Words

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

Lennon starts with perhaps the most controversial statement in the whole song: that the very concept of heaven, so intrinsic to the Christian teachings adhered to by many of his followers at the time, was a fabrication that was actually preventing us from living in the moment—the true experience of Christ Consciousness and the creation of ‘Heaven-on-Earth.’ Lennon asks us to reject a life motivated by the fear of future retribution, and the false promise of future salvation.

Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace

In one swipe, Lennon attempts to wipe away all the artificial structures that give rise to opposition: country vs. country, religion vs. religion, race vs. race, etc. To suggest that countries in our world could suddenly cease to exist is a stretch for most—but just imagining it helps us all to give up the need to identify with those labels that polarize us and prevent us from seeing ourselves as one.

 

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world

Here Lennon challenges the Capitalistic notion of private property, but more deeply the perception advocated by the Western world that life is founded on the survival of the fittest, that we actually need to live in competition with one another in order to thrive. He invokes one of the hallmarks of the hippie movement—a willingness to share the Earth’s available resources with all of humanity.

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

Finally, Lennon concedes that his listeners might think him unrealistic, a dreamer. But he is undeterred. He seems to have realized, to a large degree at least, that what is thought, intended—imagined—has the potential to manifest into reality. And indeed, the more people that join together and focus on the same vision, the more immediately that vision manifests in the world.

Imagining a New World

The awakened community has become well-versed in our ability to manifest through intention, both in our personal lives and as a collective. Films like What the Bleep Do We Know? has shown us that Quantum physics is on board to support this principle of natural law, and more and more of us are gaining confidence in manifesting by focusing our imaginations on what we want.

We are at a watershed moment in the evolution of our consciousness, where we are coming to know not only that the world John Lennon described is possible, but that we have the collective power to imagine it into existence.

Experienced Butcher Admits: “When We See Cancer In The Pork, We Just Cut It And Still Sell It To Customers”

Most people end up believing exactly what they want to believe, and that includes the truth about the food that they are shoving into their faces.

Meat eaters might want to reconsider their diet choices.

A butcher has shocked the world by saying that when coming across cancer in pork, he and many other butchers just cut it out, and continue to sell to customers.

When you buy meat from a butchers, you expect that you are usually buying the best quality, better than supermarket standard, but this has been shown not to be the case.

Meat cuts are very expensive, and this butcher has been honest about the process that the meat goes through before selling. I guess it would be mad for a butcher to throw a whole cut away just because there was a problem with one part of it.

There is no legal obligation for butchers to give information about cancers in the meant to the customers.

This revelation will come as a further shock to meat eaters who have seen their diets fall out of favor in recent years with the rise of veganism and vegetarianism. People who abstain from meat usually say that to them they think it just ‘makes sense’, and after hearing this news perhaps a few more people will be joining them in that school of thought.

A recent study in the U.S threw up some pretty worrying statistics about meat sold and packaged in the country. Hot dogs labelled as pork were found to contain traces of horse meat, and both meat and veggie hot dogs were found to have human DNA present.

 

The only way to guarantee the quality of your food is to harvest it yourself. This is harder with meat, but many people say that since they switched to a meat free diet they have never felt so good.

Meat is expensive and as some people claim, totally unnecessary to a meal. There are so many great meat alternatives out there that you should never really have to worry about eating cancerous pork again.

Here is a horrible video of cancer tumors found inside a piece of hump meat, which is then removed and sold freely as mince beef.

The good news: As bad as some brands were found to be, there are some trustworthy options out there. The report lists the soy chorizo and meatless corn dogs at Trader Joe’s as safe picks for vegetarians, and Taveritte’s, Whole Foods’ 365 brand, Aidell’s, Hebrew National, Ball Park, Oscar Mayer, and Johnsonville for meat eaters.
